Elkton from the air

In August, Ralf, The Flying Farmer, took me on a little joy ride flying in his plane. It was a perfect day to be in the air. It was a little too overcast to get good pictures, but a great flying day.

Downtown Elkton

Downtown Elkton. It looks like a real small village from this birds eye view.

The school and church

Another shot from the plane: Elkton would not be a town without the school.

The ball fields

The ball fields look so green from the air. I believe from the air you have the best seat in town.

South of town

Leaving Elkton from the south.

The landing field

This is the only picture Ralf really wanted me to take. He is very proud of his new runway.Would you believe he cuts the whole runway with his lawn mower. I know most commercial airline pilots would envy Ralf having his own private runway and hanger without a house in sight.

Checking over the plane

Ralf, looking the plane over at the last minute before
taking me on a joy ride over Elkton on a beautiful
summer day.
